This is Just the Beginning
Hey y’all! Happy New Year and welcome to Blooma! Blooma was established to help women confidently live out their purpose. I could give you a million tips on how to run your business – how to create a business plan, how to register your business, the importance of vision and strategic planning. But you could also Google that or find several books, podcasts, or YouTube videos on such topics. (Fun fact - this was actually the original vision for Blooma – to help small businesses with strategy development, project planning, and implementation.)
With a little redirection from the ultimate Strategist and Creator (shout out to God), I found my lane focusing on the inner woman. I encourage women to live God’s way, pursue their purpose relentlessly, and share their unique gifts with the world. I mean, that’s why we’re all here!
So, how can you begin to live in such a way?
1. Know God. I mean really come to know God. There’s no ceiling to our relationship with Him and the deeper we go, the deeper we grow. He is willing and available to help us through this earthly life, so take Him up on the offer every chance you get. I’ve found that many of the answers I seek are actually hidden in Him (just like the bible says). So, start there. You won’t regret it.
2. Know yourself. The more we understand a thing, the more confidence we have when putting that thing to the test. Think about how much energy we exert when we’re unsure of ourselves. The more we know, the less energy we have to spend trying to motivate and convince ourselves. The more we know, the clearer we can see fear for what it is and create a strategy to move through it. The more we know, the less time we waste on the wrong things.
3. Embrace the journey. Going to a job that you absolutely hate is hard. Trying to create your own will instead of yielding to God’s plan is hard. Honestly, doing good things can even be hard. Point being, life is hard regardless. But I would rather do ‘hard’ under the provision of God, than struggling to attain success through my own plans and desires. So, just know that a thing being ‘hard’ is not reason enough to back down, turn away, or drag out the process. Embrace it.
As 2023 begins, my prayer is that you come to know God, know yourself, and embrace the journey in a way that produces unthinkable benefits for you and those connected to you.
Lord, help me to move through each day with my head held high and a posture of gratefulness. Give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to understand. I have access to everything that I need. Amen.
So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full. Hebrews 10:35-36 TPT
May your day be filled with truth, love, and grace.
